Bike Corris Likes: Matt's Deli, Bow Street

Welcome to a new blog feature: Bike Corris Likes. 

To try and keep things fresh and give you a feel for what makes BC tick, I'll use this feature to talk about places, people and things that I like. I'll be straying away from bikes to hopefully give a wider taste of what the area has to offer.

First up, food. A good ride needs a good meal, and after a morning of breaking ice in puddles and gritting my teeth into a biting easterly, I needed warming up. Matt's Deli, in Bow Street near Aberystwyth, hit the nail on the head with succulent lamb cawl, chunky bread and a great cappuccino. A couple of cheeses from the counter and a bottle of craft beer for later, and I left a warm and happy man.

Matt and Betty have run this excellent little shop and cafe for three years and there's often bicycles parked outside. If you're in the area, it's well worth a visit.
