It's no secret that West Wales does see a drop of rain. However, this doesn't stop fun on the bikes! By choosing the right trails, the forest provides shelter from the worst of the winds, while the slate beneath our tyres shows why it was the world's favourite roofing material by draining the water away. Fortunately, grass-slogs and bogs are rare around here!
As ever, good kit helps turn a slog into a blast. Waterproof shorts, shoes or socks, plus a good jacket will keep your body feeling snug, while a glasses and a good fender keep your eyes on the trail.
Even if the morning is a touch damp, a warm lunch with good coffee will set you up for the afternoon, and a there's roaring fire to dry boots and eat cake in front of at the end of the day.
Rest assured, no matter what the weather, the riding will be superb.
